DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF
Pastor Steven S. Perry
September 29, 1954 - November 23, 1992

"I've always dreamed of having a close friend, a bosom friend, a really kindred spirit..." Anne of Green Gables
I had the pleasure of having a close friendship with Steve Perry from when we first met during the fall of my junior year at Eastern Washington University in September, 1982 till the time of Steve's death from stomach cancer in November of 1992. Steve was someone I looked up to, received counsel from, enjoyed spending a lot of time with, and, sometimes, I even felt like smacking him around. Unlike anyone I've ever known, Steve left a distinct impression on just about everyone he met.
The night that Steve passed away, I began to jot down memories as quick as I could get them down on paper. Over the past several years, I have refined my notes as best as I can recall. I hope that in some small way I can preserve the memory of a man that I loved dearly, as well as possibly acquaint him to those who never had the opportunity to meet Steve.
